Members of the COURAGE team from HRW (Bottrop) introduced the project last year to teachers at
the Freiherr vom Stein Gymnasium in Oberhausen. Students and teachers join the scientific
adventure by dicussing in focus grous and guided interviews in which they explore incidents of hate
speech and discrimination as well as ways in which toxic content is spread and (digital) measure that
could help fighting it. Information collected help to identify relevant examples and strategies for
workshops and minigames that will be part of the companion.
