On the occasion of the 4th International Conference on Higher Education Learning Methodologies and Technologies Online (HELMeTO) that was held between the 21st and 23rd of September 2022 in Palermo (Italy), the COURAGE team held three presentations. One overarching presentation provided an overview of the project and its progress, two other presentations went into more detail on technical aspects such as the architecture of the system, and the empirical studies that have been carried out and those that are planned.

The HELMeTO conference was organized by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Palermo and the Institute for Educational Technology – National Research Council of Italy. At the conference, practitioners and researchers from different disciplines were brought together to discuss new research directions and applications in higher education learning.

Shortly before the conference started, the COURAGE team took the opportunity to hold a project meeting in presence, for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic, to plan the final phase of the project. The team starts highly motivated and with insights from inspiring discussions in the last year of the project.
