COURAGE meets Curriculum: Human-Machine-Interaction Students Develop Game Prototypes

30.01.2020

Students of the study program Human-Machine-Interaction at the University of Applied Sciences Ruhr West (Bottrop) had the chance to work with some of the researchers involved in the COURAGE project. Their task during the last semester was to developed concepts for educational mini-games aiming at sensitizing teenagers for toxic content on Social Media. Besides collecting research results on the spread of toxic content and the relevance of interaction design principles and the colour set up of an application, they thought about engaging strategies to be included in the game concepts for the schools and designed material for workshops framing the game in the classes at school.
