On Saturday the 30th, Judit Martínez Moreno and René Lobos Quintero from the research group TIDE (UPF) participated in the virtual event of Oracle4Girls by organising a workshop in the context of the Courage project. Girls from Madrid, Valencia and Catalonia (Spain) attended to it. 

The activity educated the participants on how social media work, what is Artificial Intelligence and what are the risks that can arise from it. At the end of the event, the participants reported that they had liked the workshop and that it had been useful to learn about how social media work and to reflect on the risks of AI in social networks. Concretely, they highlighted the usefulness of learning new concepts such as echo-chamber or polarization. 

And all of them are willing to know more about the Courage project!
