In August and November 2022, the COURAGE companion was introduced and tested in school trials. Members from RIAS, HRW, and UPF prepared and conducted workshops on the role of empathy and information transfer in the context of cyberbullying and racism. A total of 300 students aged between 12 and 15 years from two schools in the Rhine Ruhr area participated. Besides being trained in dealing with critical content, students’ personal experiences were discussed and future improvements of the system collected.
