This Transgang Training Seminar focuses on the research plan and tools of the study ‘Media Representations and Youth Street Organizations. Analysis of fiction and non-fiction media products’. It derives from the agreement with the TRANSGANG project between the University of Barcelona and the Pompeu Fabra University. This study explores the role of the media in the construction of the social imaginary around youth street groups. In the TTS we will situate the research in terms of its perspectives and interests based on four observed gaps in the information. In second place, we will present the research plan, including the general and specific objectives, the research tools we will use, the selection of the analysis samples and, finally, the work plan.

The working language of the seminar will be English.
