On Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Júlia Castellano, guest speaker at COMPASS, lead the seminar "Pragmatism vs. Idealism in the defense of animals" took place.

Júlia Castellano, a member of the UPF-CAE, is currently developing her doctoral thesis on the strategic communication of vegan brands and presented a reflection on the two axes of positioning (idealism and pragmatism) to contextualize the pragmatism of brands.

Several members of the COMPASS research team acted as discussants, presenting their opinions and position on the subject: Estela Días (Comillas), Catia Faria (UCM), Laura Fernández (UPF), and Eze Paez (UPF).
