In my PhD project I am currently working on resting-state fMRI recorded in humans during different vigilance states. The focus of my work lies in studying the differences between distinct brain states, such as rest compared to slow-wave sleep or deep anaesthesia. I approach these topics by applying data analysis as well as whole brain modelling. I am specifically interested in the global spatiotemporal changes during different conditions as well as the underlying dynamics which govern these altered brain states. I am also working as a teaching assistant at the Escuela Superior Politécnica at the UPF teaching undergraduate courses. I have been involved in the following subjects: - Winterterm 2013-2014: Linear Algebra and Discrete Mathematics - Summerterm 2013-2014: Audiovisual Perception and Cognition Summerterm 2014-2015: Audiovisual Perception and Cognition
