Together with the Computer Vision Center of Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, we presented the project EspaiStory at YOMO – Youth Mobile Festival.

Espaistory is a Mixed Reality system that allows children to create and interact with their own narratives in and on physical space. Children will use special mobile devices to project their characters and their stories on the surrounding physical space. They will also physically interact with their stories as if the characters were alive and present in the same shared space.

The project is based on a novel interaction paradigm, named “World-as-Support”, which merges and enhances the features of Augmented Reality and bodily based interaction.
