ViMM: Virtual Multimodal Museums, EU Coordination & Support Action
Kick-off Workshop Thematic Area 5: Demand

This past Friday the 19th of May, we organised the kick-off workshop for its "Thematic Area 5: Demand" within ViMM (Virtual Multimodal Museums), an EU-funded Coordination and Support Action under H2020. The event took place at the Department of ETIC of UPF in Barcelona and it was a great success.
30 participants from international and national institutions related to Digital Cultural Heritage met to discuss about the needs, goals, added values, management, and assessment of Virtual Multimodal Museums.
This will help produce a report to guide future policies for the EU on research within DCH and provide a practical guide for cultural sites in general to take advantage of these technologies and make an adequate use of them.
