Project CompBioMed 2 on the use and development of computational methods for biomedical applications

10.06.2021

The Computational Science Group of GRIB led by Gianni de Fabritiis is involved on this project and have a central role regarding research on biomedical science, both with simulation methods and deep learning based applications. The group is also working towards integrating results from modelling and simulation data with clinical and/or experimental data, supporting the combination of high-throughput data analytics with HPC based results, which will provide users a way to leverage the results produced by CompBioMed's research.

CompBioMed project started on 2016 and has been extended on October 2019 for another 4 years, until 2023. The Project is a European Commission H2020 funded Centre of Excellence focussed on the use and development of computational methods for biomedical applications. It has users within academia, industry and clinical environments and is working to train more people in the use of its products and methods.
