Moreta Tusquets, Ignasi

Ignasi Moreta (Barcelona, 1980) is a professor of Catalan literature and the publisher of Fragmenta. Doctor in Humanities for the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, he specialized in Joan Maragall’s thinking. He has published research papers in the field of Catalan Philology and Religions in different specialized magazines, and has lectured at universities and cultural institutions in Spain, Mexico, Colombia and Peru. He is the author of “No et facis posar cendra. Pensament i religió en Joan Maragall” (2010), “Converses amb Josep Rius-Camps” (2014) and “Conversa amb Lluís Duch” (2019), he has been in charge of the editing of two books by Maragall —Visions & cants (2003) and La Setmana Tràgica (2009)—, and is part of the editorial committee of the critical edition of the complete works by Joan Maragall —he has edited the first volume, “Poesia i teatre” (2020), with Lluís Quintana—. He is the literary director of Fragmenta Editorial, which was founded in 2007. In 2012, the Book Chamber of Catalonia recognized his editorial work and awarded him with the Ferran Lara Memorial Award to young entrepreneurs in the book industry.
