  • QUAES-UPF prize for the best master project:
    • After the presentation of all master projects, the faculty members will select the best master project. The winner will receive a certificate and a 500 € prize-money awarded by the QUAES-UPF Chair for Computational Technologies for Healthcare (see https://www.upf.edu/web/catedra-quaes-upf)
  • Virtual Physiological Human Institute (VPHi)
    • Through the research group BCN MedTech, UPF is a member of the VPHi. All master students are entitled to a one-year student membership of the VPHi, covered by the UPF. For further details about this membership, please contact Jérôme Noailly ([email protected])
    • The VPH Summer School is an annual event co-organised by BCN MedTech, the VPHi and international partners (https://www.bcnvph.org). The VPH Summer Schools gathers 15 top-class international speakers and proposes one week of hands on sessions to discover new methodologies in computational biomedical engineering. The VPH Summer School 2019 edition will take place on June 10th-14th 2019.
      • Students enrolled to our master can attend this prestigious school without paying the registration fees.
      • Best student works during the hands-on activities of the school are awarded by the QUAES-UPF Chair.
      • The school also welcomes student posters that compete for the VPHi Best Poster Award, a 1,000 € allowance to cover travel and registration costs for scientific events.
