This short-format workshop provides exchange students with the basic contents needed to place Catalan language and culture in its historical, linguistic, cultural and national context. Languages in which the course will be taught: English and some Catalan and Spanish (according to the group’s needs).

Workshop on Intercomprehencion among   Romantic languages
  • Catalan compared to the other Romance languages

 

ADDITIONAL CULTURAL ACTIVITIES ADDITIONAL CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

The course will include a cultural visit of Barcelona

Registration fee: 15 euros.

Conditions: Minimal number of students per group: 10 students

Recomendations: This unit is precedes by an introductoryy unit called "A Quick Glance at Catalonia". It is recommended that students take both of them.

ATTENDANCE POLICY AND CERTIFICATES ATTENDANCE POLICY AND CERTIFICATES

Students will receive a certificate of attendance provided they have a minimum attendance of 80%. Certificates can be collected from the Idiomes UPF administrative office (Roger de Llúria building, office 40.175).
