I hold a BA in English Philology (University of Barcelona, 1990-1996) and La Trobe University of Melbourne, Australia (1995), a Diploma in Public Relations ESRP-UB (1990-1993), a MA in Cultural Management (IDEC-UPF, 2004), a pre-doctorate MA in Comparative Studies in Art, Literature and Thought (UPF, 2010-2012) and a PhD in Communication Sciences (UPF, 2012-2016).
I combine an experienced professional career in Corporate Communications and Brand Equity supporting executive objectives in a diversity of sectors, including the Arts, Social and Digital Innovation projects, with teaching at a University level.
My field of expertise focuses on communications and collaborative strategies based on the definition and orchestrated multi-activity performance of corporate culture’s values, for which I have collaborated with companies, institutions, universities, social and other stakeholders agents, alike
I hold experience in executive account director roles at PR agency Weber-Shandwick (1996-2000) and particularly at Edelman, where I worked for over a decade, including a 4-years international role as Spain’s GM (2000-2010). Through-out my career I have assisted campaigns and programs for companies such as Danone, British Airways, National Geographic, HP, Gilead Sciences, Footlocker and Microsoft, among others. Most recently and at a consultancy executive assistance level, I have worked for The Mobile World Capital Foundation (2018), the Department of Climate Change and Sustainability of the Government of Catalunya (2019) and EINA School of Art and Design, where I was Head of Communications for over 3 years (2013-2016).
Since 2008, I have been lecturing at the University Pompeu Fabra in Communications at BA & MA degrees including being MA visiting professor at Universidad Diego Portales in Santiago de Chile (2004-2013), among other international teaching and research experience and currently, as part-time professor of at UPF International Programs (HESP, BaPIS, BISS)
