Doctoral Student Participates at ICORIA 2016 Doctoral Colloquium

Last week MediaCorp research student, J. Roberto Sánchez Reina, participated at the Doctoral Colloquium organized by the European Academy of Advertising (EAA).

With the purpose to present his current thesis project, Sánchez was invited to meet advertising professionals and researchers as well as other members of the EAA.

The colloquium took place as part of the 15th International Conference on Research in Advertising, ICORIA 2016. Twenty doctoral students from different countries presented his research interests and described their projects. Also, they were introduced top professional researchers, editors and presidents of the European and American Academy of Advertising.

Some of the topics discussed at the colloquium were how to build a career in advertising, doing research work in academy and publishing research work at international ranked journals.

Sánchez’s participation was a great opportunity to expand his network in addition to look for MediaCorp research partners.

ICORIA 2016 took place at the Faculty of Economics of the Ljubljana University, Slovenia.
