Dr. Rodero will analyze university students' oral communication skills thanks to a project funded by La Caixa
Dr. Emma Rodero has obtained the support of the "la Caixa" Foundation for her project called "The critical relevance of oral communication skills. Diagnosis in university students" within the call to support research projects on education and society.
The call aimed to support social science research projects that use quantitative survey data on education and society in Spain. Each funded project will receive up to 30,000 euros.
The selection process of the proposals was conducted by academic experts linked to the field of social sciences. The projects were evaluated without the evaluators knowing the authorship or affiliation of the concurrent researchers.
The calls of the Social Observatory of the" la Caixa" Foundation are known to be very competitive calls as they seek to finance excellent, innovative, and socially oriented research projects. The proposals must generate new knowledge to expand the understanding of the significant challenges of today's society. Of all the submissions from all over Spain, only five have been selected this year; among them is the project of Dr. Rodero.
Obtaining these grants not only represents excellent economic support for researchers' studies but also endorses the scientific level of the proposals and the high quality of the researchers who recibe them.
The research group congratulates Dr. Rodero for this achievement.
