4th edition of #DesayunoKids about CSR

On Wednesday 16th of May it was celebrated the 4th edition of #DesayunoKids (Breakfast Kids) about Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its impact on society, business and children.

On Wednesday 16th of May it was celebrated the 4th edition of #DesayunoKids (Breakfast Kids) about Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its impact on society, business and children. The presentation was carried by Miguel Gonzalez-Durán Director of The Modern Kids Family (TMKF) followed by Dr. Mònica Figueras, vice-rector of projects for social commitment and equality of Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) and Xavier Carbonell, director of the Chair of SCR of Mango and professor of UPF.

                                     

The assistance of this particular #DesayunoKids was very interdisciplinary, incorporating people from different sectors such as: BICGroup; Pelikan; STAEDTLER; Endesa; Atrapalo; Gaes; MuseuMaritim; Museu_Egipci; KIDS Cluster and Mango.

                

 

The debate revolved around the importance of understanding CSR not as an added value but as a way of being. As well as understanding which role play both internal and external communication. The first one, internal communication can not only improve the well-being of employees but also increase performance and promote the company's actions. In relation to external communication should always communicate what are the positive  actions that are being done at a business level so that all those efforts do not become invisible. As well as trying to avoid bad advertising.
