CFX goes to FIMH 2017

Three Cfx students, Eric, Mariana and Gabriel, participated in the biannual conference Functional Imaging and Modelling of the Heart, that took place in Toronto in June 2017. The conference community is composed by a mixture of engineers and clinicians that develope techniques that allow to obtain a better insight of the cardiovascular system. The topics of interest were image processing,  image analysis, computational simulation, and translation of those techniques to clinical problems, so it was a perfect opportunity to meet researchers in related projects, and exchange ideas and possible solution to common problems.

All 3 students presented their preliminary results in the conference, which were later published in the conference proceedings, and recieved  feedback of their work . The final version is available at http://www.springer.com/us/book/9783319594477
