ETNA ABAD
Postdoctoral fellow

Etna is a PhD student in Biomedicine. She uses mouse models and CRISPR/Cas9 to understand the role of DNA repair processes that are critical for p53-mediated tumour suppression. Etna graduated from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2017 with bachelor’s degrees in Veterinary Medicine and she holds an MSc in Translational Biomedicine. She previously worked on the cancer stem cells resistance mechanisms.

2016 -2017 Master degree in Translational Biomedical Research, Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR), Barcelona

2010-2015 Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine - Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Barcelona
