On 24th September 2021, Núria Amiron gave a talk about her chapter "Communicating solidarity. The Ethics of Representing Human and Nonhuman Distant Suffering" to the GU-CAS (Gottenburg University- Critical Animal Studies) Network.  The talk was part of the online seminar organized by  the GU-CAS network.

The chapter discussed by Dr. Almiron was her contribution to the volume 'Like an Animal'. Critical Animal Studies Approaches to Borders, Displacement, and Othering, co-edited with Nathalie Khazaal and published in July 2021 by Brill.
