From June 30 to July 2, 2021 took place the Animal Advocacy Conference in virtual mode and bringing together researchers from different fields in the social and behavioral sciences, and animal activists and advocates from around the world.

We are glad to inform that Daniela R. Waldhorn, UPF-CAE board member, presented "Attitudes towards animals living in the wild: Preliminary findings of a study of animal activists in Spain" and UPF-CAE advisory board member Oscar Horta presetned the paper "Helping wild animals as individuals as a cause area and a new research field: attitudes among natural scientists and students".

The conference was organized by SHARKLab (Study of human intergroup and animal relations), University of Kent, United Kingdom. This conference aims to bridge the gap between academic researchers and activists/professionals in the field of vegan and animal rights advocacy.
