Faunalytics, the charity empowering animal advocates with data and advice to maximize effectiveness to reduce animal suffering, has reported on Laura Fernández's work as research for effective advocacy. Under the title "How moral shock makes an impression", Beth Synder provides a summary of the findings of Laura Fernández's paper "Images That Liberate: Moral Shock and Strategic Visual Communication in Animal Liberation Activism", published in June 2020 in the Journal of Communication Inquiry. This paper reflects the main findings of Fernández's PhD research, under the supervision of Dr. Núria Almiron, to be defended in the coming months.
