Ezequiel Paez
Ezequiel Paez - Board Member
Eze Paez is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre for Humanistic Studies, University of Minho (CEHUM), Portugal. He has been lecturing in legal theory, moral and political philosophy at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where he recently got his PhD. He has also received an MA and a BA in Law from the same university. He has been a visiting student at the Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics, at the University of Oxford. His interests are in normative and applied ethics. He has previously written on the ontological and normative aspects of abortion. He has been working on questions related to the badness of death and interspecies comparisons of happiness. He is currently interested in several theoretical and applied problems in population ethics, in particular, how the consideration of nonhuman animals' interests might affect decisions regarding which beings shall come into existence.
