RADUSKY, LEANDRO

Coordinator of Advanced Statistics

Leandro Radusky is a Computer Scientist with a PhD in Chemical Biology, both obtained in the University of Buenos Aires. During his PhD he worked in multi-omics data analysis on pathogens applied to detect novel protein targets for treatment development. He is actually post-doc in the Design of Biological Systems lab at the CRG where its main research is focused in structural bioinformatics. Specifically he work in the development of FoldX, a knowledge base tool for protein engineering, and ModelX, a statistically-forcefield driven biomolecular interface engineering tool.

He was teacher on the secondary school, teaching assistant in the Computer Scientist grade at the University of Buenos Aires, trainer of secondary school teachers on programming subjects for the Buenos Aires City Council, online tutor of a national challenge to stimulate STEMs at primary school level (http://www.daleaceptar.gob.ar/) among other specific short courses.

He is also interested in creative writing. He published a novel, "Fue mala idea conquistar Formosa" (Editorial Hormigas Negras, Buenos Aires) in 2017.
