Carlos Ruiz Wills wins the Spanish Chapter Award from ESB
The 23rd Congress of the European Society of Biomechanics was celebrated in Sevilla on July 2nd-5th.
The European Society of Biomechanics (ESB) is now the largest Biomechanics society in Europe, whose goal is to encourage research, disseminate knowledge and promote progress in Biomechanics
Since Spain was the organizer of this year’s congress edition, the ESB decided to give an award to the best 4 Spanish research works. The works selected were presented in a special session called “Spanish Chapter Award”.
Carlos Ruiz Wills, member of BCN MedTech, was one of the 4 winners, with his work “3D DXA-based patient-specific finite element model for classification of fracture and non-fracture cases”. This work has been developed under the proyect Densi3D in collaboration with CETIR Grup Mèdic.
