On November 21st Marta Nuñez will be defending her thesis entitled “Left atrial parameterisation and multi-modal data analysis: application to atrial fibrillation”. The thesis  is focused on the development of computational techniques to analyse multi-modal image data and information for a better understanding of the pathophysiology, progression and treatment of atrial fibrillation.

It has been directed by Prof. Oscar Cámara from UPF and member of BCN MedTech and Dr. Constatntine Butakoff from the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. The tribunal will be composed by Prof. Miguel Ángel González Ballester (UPF), Prof. Rafael Sebastian (Universitat de València) and Prof. Huber Cochet (Université de Bordeaux).

The defense will take place at 11am in room 55.003.
