The TEDx program is a nonprofit event made up of dreamers and visionaries from different disciplines that, in a combination of short talks and highly studied and prepared performances, want to promote passion and learning, inspire and fascinate them to provoke debate, conversations and extraordinary changes

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

The theme of the next TEDxAmposta is “UNBOXING. Knowledge, Creativity, Minds, Authenticity, Ideas, Doubt, Projects, Passion”. This event will host international speakers from different areas that will talk about their professional success.

Jordina is a PhD student at BCN MedTech and has recently received the Google Women Techmakers distinction, as one of the twenty women selected in the region comprising Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This award aims to promote the presence of women in the fields of computer science, computer engineering and other closely related technical fields.
