Barcelona Research Seminar
2022-2023 Edition

The Barcelona Research Seminar is a unique chance for the students at the Erasmus+ Master Václav Havel in European Politics and Society (Jagiellonian University, Pompeu Fabra University, Leiden University, Charles University) to improve their analytical and critical thinking skills. The event provides all MA students with Opening lectures from esteemed academics on solid examples of quantitative and qualitative research methods. Furthermore, it provides a space for smaller seminar groups where students are divided and encourage to present research relative to their Dissertation while both giving and receiving precious feedback.

After two online Editions, this year students have been able to gathering together in Barcelona. 

The event involved almost 50 students and 16 professors from all EPS partner universities. It took place on January, 18th, 2023 (Wednesday) - January, 19th, 2023 (Thursday) at Campus Ciutadella of Pompeu Fabra University for two whole days.  

Both BACES and the EUGov JMC express their satisfaction for the succesful development of the event. We are thrilled to returning to face-to-face meetings. Altogether, the realization of BRS is a solid proof of our teams' experience in the organization and management of online academic events.
