New BACES/JMC Methodology courses for UPF Students!

BACES and the JMC EUGov are contributing to the organization of a series of Methodology courses for MA and PhD Students of UPF. Check the details and dates below and watch out for the incoming registration campaigns

UPDATE REGARDING THE REGISTRATION CAMPAIGN (01/04/2021): The organizer's team has decided that it will be best to provide separate timings for joining the courses. Each registration form will be launched at least 2 to 4 weeks prior to the relevant course. The Political and Social Sciences Department will communicate the opening of the registration campaign via google form. 

 

In the framework of the activities led by the Department of Political and Social Sciences at University Pompeu Fabra, both BACES and the JMC EUGov are organizing a series of methodology courses in specific quantitative methods of social sciences

These courses will be free for students at MA and PhD level, provided that the interested ones register on time during the relevant campaigns

All courses will take place online, as we will provide a relevant Zoom access link to registered users. Participants will be required to have relevant software installed on their own computers during the course. The courses will have a duration of 10 hours and will carried out on muliple dates, giving time to students to absorb the content and do some own practice. 

Furher information on the courses will be offered through the registration campaign which will open closer to the date of the courses.

 

The offer for academic year 2020-2021 includes:

 

1) Workshop on Causal Mediation Analysis (April 2021)

 

 

 

 

2) Workshop on Social Networtk Analysis: Theories and Practices (1st half of May 2021)

 

 

 

3) Workshop on Panel Data Analysis (2nd half of May 2021)
