Paola Lagos

Master in Documentary Cinema and Doctor in Audiovisual Communication from the UAB, she will complete a two-year postdoctoral research stay at the Col·lectiu de Recerca Estètica dels Mitjans Audiovisuals (CINEMA) of the UPF. Academic at the UIC, its research interests cover non-fiction cinema, assaig cinema, self-representational documentary, experimental cinema, among others. Author of the book David Perlov. La imagen bisagra como pensamiento cinematográfico intersticial  (Shangrila, 2024). Guest Editor of the monograph "The Body of the Voice: Oralitat a Sound and Performative Expression in Non-Fiction Film" for a Comparative Cinema, Vol. 12 No. 22 (2024), UPF.
