f) Who the hell wants to hear actors talk?

Harold M. "Harry" Warner was one of the founders of Warner Bros. and a major contributor to the development of the film industry. In 1925, Harry's brother acquired a radio station, KWBC, and decided to make an attempt to use synchronized sound in future Warner Bros. Pictures. When the idea was pitched to him in 1927, Harry memorably said:

"Who the hell wants to hear actors talk?"

Despite these reservations, under Harry and his brothers leadership the company was a successful pioneer of the sound film industry.
