Biography note

I am a "Ramón y Cajal" researcher and lecturer in philosophy of law. Previously, I was a Max Weber fellow at the European University Institute, where I also served as teaching fellow at the Law Department, and a post-doctoral researcher and adjunct professor at the University of Bologna (Law Department and CIRSFID).

I graduated in Law from the University of Bologna and obtained a Ph.D. in Law (philosophy of law track) from the University of Pisa. During my studies, I was a visiting research student at the University of Chicago Law School and a visiting doctoral student at the Harvard Law School.

I am member of the editorial board of Ratio Juris. An International Journal of Jurisprudence and Philosophy of Law (Wiley: Oxford) and of the European Academy of Legal Theory Research Network (EALT).
