María Fernanda Mancheno is a Master of Interactive and Intelligent Systems student. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Rochester, NY where she studied Digital Media Studies and Mathematics. Her undergraduate capstone project involved the creation of a Google Chrome plugin for the recognition of offensive language on Twitter. She has been working as a freelance web developer and on multiple Python programming projects. Currently, she is developing an educational chatbot for her Master’s thesis applying different natural language processing techniques.

Her research interests are focused on Educational Environments, Social Media Interaction and Computational Semantics.
