Josep Ferrer is a current Intelligent Interactive Systems Master student in the UPF. He is a physics engineering graduate from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona. He has been working as a data analyst and is currently joining the TIDE research group as a research assistant, to participate in the Teaspils project helping out with data analysis tasks.

His research interests are focused on Biomedical engineering, Social Interaction, Big data and Computational Semantics. His Master Thesis will focus on characterizing the mobility of the Catalan society using mobile phone data.
