Artificial Intelligence in Catalonia: shaping the present to transform for the future
Davinia Hernández-Leo, head of TIDE, has been a speaker in the X Jornades Catalunya Futura with the title “La intel·ligència artificial a Catalunya: modelant el present per transformar el futur” (Artificial Intelligence in Catalonia: shaping the present to transform for the future), in the session on "La revolució de la IA en l'educació superior i la recerca" (The revoluiton of AI in higher education and research).
The event took place in the Poblet monastery on October 23 and 24, 2024 as part of the activities of the Knowledge, Territory and Innovation Platform, are dedicated to understanding the current state of AI in Catalonia, from the perspective of the different areas and sectors, as well as to reflect and debate on the social, legal and ethical challenges posed by its deployment.
