Short Biosketch

Lucinda Cash-Gibson, BSc, MSc, MRes, PhD, forma part del Grup de Recerca en Desigualtats en Salut i Ecologia (GREDS-EMCONET) i del Centre de Polítiques Públiques JHU-UPF des de 2015. A principis de 2021 es va incorporar a l'Institut de Recerca Vall d'Hebron (VHIR ) com a director de projectes científics. També es Editorial Board Member of BioMed Central (BMC) Public Health Journal, enfocada en determinants socials de la salut.

Lucinda es doctora en Salut Pública (Cum laude) per la Universitat Pompeu Fabra (2016-2020); la seva tesi va ser sobre: ​​“On, por què i com es genera el coneixement científic sobre les desigualtats en salut? -Una perspectiva integrada per a enfortir la comprensió de les capacitats de recerca de les desigualtats en salut. Idees clavo del Regne Unit i la ciutat de Barcelona ”. També té un Mestratge en Recerca (MSc) en Sociologia i Demografia de la Universitat Pompeu Fabra (2015-2016), un Mestratge en Ciències (MSc) en Recerca en Salut Sexual i Reproductiva (Salut Pública) de la London School of Hygiene i Tropical Medicine, Londres, el Regne Unit (2007-2008), i una Llicenciatura en Biologia Cel·lular Molecular d'University College London, el Regne Unit (2004-2017).
