The Full-Body Interaction Lab (CMTECH) receives the "Best Communication Award" from the Spanish Psychiatry Association

The communication "A virtual reality videogame to foster social initiation behaviours in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder" has received the "Best Communication Award" at the "61st Conference of the Spanish Children and Adolescent Psychiatry Association".

This past June 16 the team of the Full Body Interaction Lab (FubIntLab) presented the communication "A virtual reality videogame to foster social initiation behaviours in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder" which describes the work done in our project "Pico's Adventure". This is a videogame based on full-body interaction, which uses a kinect sensor, to foster social initiation behaviours in children with ASD. This project was developed under the M4ALL EU-funded project within the Lifelong Learning Program.

In this project they collaborated with Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona.

The communication was presented at the "61st Conference of the Spanish Children and Adolescent Psychiatry Association" held in the city of Castelló.
