What is the logic behind financial markets? Do you think that investors behave rationally or irrationally?

These might seem simple questions, but if you ask them to different economists you will end up with a diversity of answers! The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences surprised everyone this year by awarding the 2013 Nobel Prize in economics to different theories explaining the same issue: the (ir)rationality of financial markets.

Are you thrilled by the Academy's surprising decision? Do you want to know more about finance? Regardless of your background, this upcoming Wednesday the GEEP brings you the opportunity to learn more! With the collaboration of Prof. Xavier Freixas and Prof. Robin Hogarth, we will hold a clarifying lecture and a passionate debate between the different positions moderated by the Prof. Javier Gil-Bazo.

*Registration is required in order to attend the event. The registration must be done online (http://goo.gl/wEqDN0) and it will be available until all the seats are taken. Please register if and only if you are going to attend, otherwise your seat could be taken by someone else.
