The Innovation and Quality Team of our UCA (ETIC) presents a summary of the study conducted by the AQU on employment outcomes of graduates from our School (GEI, GESA, GEXT and GEBM), year 2015-16. A sample of students from each degree has been selected to conduct the study.  The table below specifies the number of students selected and the percentage share to the total number of students.

The graduates from the GEXT awarded the most points to job satisfaction (9/10), although the graduates from all the other degrees rated it above 7.5/10. More than 80% of the graduates from the GEBM, GEI and GEXT have permanent contracts. The percentage of freelancers is notably higher among the graduates from the GESA (41%). 100% of the graduates from the GEBM, GEI and GEXT are working full-time, while only 76% of the graduates from the GEXT are doing so. Regarding monthly income, GEBM graduates have the lowest salaries (2719€/month), while those from the GEXT have the highest ones (3094€/month on average).

Finally, a significant majority of graduates from every single degree would pursue their degree and would choose the same university again. 90% of the graduates from the GEBM would opt for both the same university and degree again. Broadly speaking, 82.67% of the ICT respondents would pursue the same degree again, and 92.33% of them would do so at the UPF again.

Comparing these data to those from other degrees and universities in Catalonia, it can be concluded that, in most cases, the degrees of the UPF Engineering School are ranked equally or higher with regard to the different variables considered in the study. It should be noted that the GEBM is the degree with the most positive global results in almost all the comparisons made. Among the ICT degrees, the GEXT presents the most positive results compared to the rest of the degrees and universities.
