Functions

The role of the Information Services Unit includes providing the guidelines and establishing the procedures for rendering the University’s Student Information Desk (PIE) service; providing the University’s Telephone Assistance Service (SAT); establishing the criteria to ensure the coherence and effectiveness of Library communications with its users; establishing the criteria for Library and Computing websites and intranets and the like, and coordinating their actions; planning and coordinating the production of materials to disclose, inform of and market the services offered by the Library; and any others that may be assigned to it.
