Functions

The role of Submanagement includes providing the guidelines and establishing the procedures related to the services in support of research supplied by the Library and the technical processing of information resources and their dissemination; ensuring the implementation and maintenance of the Library management system and other software necessary to efficiently render its services; providing the guidelines and establishing the procedures of the Scientific Output Portal and derived services and the institutional repository, and coordinating participation in all other digital repositories in which the University participates; overseeing the advisory service on intellectual property provided by the Library; studying and proposing new services and new technological tools related to support for research; carrying out the functions of representation of the management of the Library in the event of their absence; and any others that may be assigned to it.
