Artist Kate Aspinall presents the AMORE X Theo collaboration at the STARTS Residencies Day in Paris

03.08.2018

Kate Aspinall (practice name Theo), resident artist in the AMORE project, introduced the aims and initial outcomes of the Blueprints for an Emergent Personality Project to an audience at Centre Pompidou in Paris for the STARTS Residencies Day on 15 June 2018 (see video of her presentation on YouTube). Blueprints is a collaboration between her and AMORE that artistically responds to the emotional implications of developing computational systems that can learn their own representations from data. The project explores the limits of human empathy. This collaboration between art and science is supported by the VERTIGO project as part of the STARTS program of the European Commission.
