The model CRAI implies the integration, in a common space, of all the services and resources related with information technologies and resources which students need in the development of their activity in the university. This concentration entails more ease of use and more exploitation of them. At the Library/CRAI students find those spaces, resources and services needed to carry out their academic tasks. This organizational design promotes, in addition, the implementation of new services and the development of new spaces (for teamwork, etc.) with new and better equipments and a conciliatory vision of the services and the professionals who provide them. Therefore, the Library/CRAI is a fundamental unit of support to teaching at learning at University Pompeu Fabra.
The most characteristic and distinctive features of the services that the Library/CRAI provides to its users, teachers and students, to materialize its mission are the following: range of timetable, information resources, facilities and equipments at the students' service and specific work spaces: Translation cabins, Teamwork rooms, Spaces for postgraduate students (doctorate and master), View rooms, HackLab UPF and computer rooms and studios at the students' service.
