Description

Accelerated studies allow degree students at UPF with a good academic performance to progress in their studies more quickly than the time frame outlined in the course study plan.

Students that wish to fast-track their studies must:

Be studying a degree at Pompeu Fabra University.

Have passed their first year.

Have obtained all the credits they enrolled on up to the time of application.

Have an average mark on the academic record of at least 8.5 across all the subjects they have enrolled on up to the time of application.

 

Procedure

 

Application addressed to the dean or director of your study programme.

The application must include a favourable report from your tutor, which indicates that the student has met all the requirements and the subjects they wish to enrol on.

 

Deadline

The application must be submitted up to three days after the completion grading is completed.

Relevant authority

The dean or director of the centre is the relevant authority.

Decision

The dean or director will come to a decision regarding the applications, once the tutor’s report has been assessed, within 5 days, starting the day the application is submitted. Only subjects listed on the dean or director’s ruling can be enrolled on.

 

Important

 

 

You cannot fast-track your studies if: 

You are studying a double-degree.

You are studying a simultaneous study programme at UPF.

You are classified as a part-time student.
