Description

You can apply to the Academic Committee of the doctoral programme for your doctoral thesis to be jointly supervised by more than one supervisor (maximum 3), providing that there are academic reasons that warrant this, such as interdisciplinary subject matter, and that they meet the requirements in terms of research experience when there are reasons of an academic nature or thematic interdisciplinarity or when the programs are developed in national or international collaboration.

Joint supervisors must be approved by the Academic Committee, which may revoke its decision at a later date if, in its opinion, the joint supervisor does not benefit the development of the thesis.

 Procedure

  1. The student apply through the Public Administration Platform.
    It is necessary to provide :
    - Report from the thesis supervisor accepting the incorporation of a new supervisor.
    - Acceptance of the new thesis supervisor.
  2. The Academic Committee authorizes, if necessary, the incorporation of a new thesis supervisor.
