About TUQ
The Technical Unit for Quality (attached to the Strategy, Data and Quality Service) has the following mission:
- To coordinate the activities linked to the monitoring and accreditation of the official qualifications of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra and the processing that derives from this before the competent bodies, as well as the design, advice, and implementation, at the institutional and center level, of the internal quality assurance system and the processes related to the evaluation and certification of quality programs.
- To support the University's governing bodies in these areas.
- To promote a culture of quality in the institution.
- To advise and support the centers, both its own and affiliated, in the quality improvement and the monitoring and accreditation processes of their degrees.
- Coordinate collaboration with other UPF Services in the monitoring processes, accreditation, and evaluation of additional dimensions, as well as in other external quality evaluations of degrees and centers.
- Advise and evaluate the design and implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance Systems of both own and affiliated centers.
- Coordinate and advise on the review and improvement of the UPF Internal Quality Assurance System.
- Prepare and carry out the necessary documentation and tools for the assessment processes.
- Coordinating, advising, and assessing actions to obtain the additional dimensions and quality seals for degrees and centers.
- Analysing and reporting on the results of evaluative processes.
- To liaise with AQU and other quality agencies.
- To carry out internal training on university quality issues.
- To support the institution in the improvement and external certification of the quality of its activity.
- To advise and support the centers, both its own and affiliated, in the certification of IQAS and institutional accreditation.
