Translation lecturer (professor agregat) in the Department of Translation and Language Sciences at Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

She has degrees in Filologia Francesa i Romànica (1996) and in Filologia Catalana (1997) from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where she obtained her doctorate with a thesis on the medieval Catalan translation of a fifteenth-century French poetic text: La traducció catalana medieval de La Belle Dame sans merci d’Alain Chartier (2008).

She is currently teaching in the fields of humanistic and literary translation, French literature, and translation and comparison between Catalan and Spanish languages. Her research areas are poetry translation, medieval and Renaissance translations, and translation and reception in twentieth-century Catalan literary fields.

With more than 20 years experience in the publishing industry, she has specialized in the correction/edition and translation of literature. She has translated the narrative of contemporary French authors, such as Philippe Delerm, David Foenkinos and Jérôme Ferrari, and also classics, such as Émile Zola, Honoré de Balzac, Paul Valéry, Samuel Beckett and Théophile Gautier.
