Babylab Coordinator in the Speech Acquisition and Perception Group (SAP)

Responsibilities:

-General organization of the Babylab agenda

-Managing and scheduling Babylab appointments

-Managing taxis for families

-Coordinating the daily recruiting visits to two clinics and monthly presentations at daycare centers

-Recruiting families to participate

-Management and update of the babylab data database

-Feedback to parents – giving them group results once the study their infant participated in finishes

-Coding/double coding of the data

-Translation of experimental material

-Reception of families in the Babylab

-Data Organization and preliminary analysis

Engineer in IoT Wireless networks

The Wireless Networking research group aims to explore new concepts, communication paradigms and technologies for future wireless networks.

This job offer is part of the call for Emerging Technologies projects (RIS3CAT).

We are looking for a dynamic and autonomous person to design, implement and test communications protocols for wireless sensor networks. Moreover, it is also contemplated the task of integrating those networks into processing data apps in order to apply Machine Learning methods is sought to obtain a better performance and optimization of an ambiental monitoring network in an urban environment (Smart Cities).

His/her work will be done within the FEM IoT project, co-financed by the Directorate General of Research of Generalitat de Catalunya within the call RIS3CAT Emerging Technologies through the program for the European Fund for Regional Development (ERDF).

Call Center - Speech Acquisition & Perception (SAP)

Puesto de CALL CENTER para el grupo de investigación SAP (Speech Acquisition & Perception) del Laboratorio de Investigación en Infancia de la Universidad Pompeu Fabra (liderado por Núria Sebastián Gallés).

 

Se ofrece incorporación el 1 de septiembre de 2021 y jornada a tiempo parcial (20 horas por semana). El puesto de trabajo forma parte del proyecto SIMBILEX "Consecuencias de la similitud lingüística en el léxico bilingüe infantil" financiado por FEDER / Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades Español - Agencia Estatal de Investigación, proyecto ref. PGC2018-101831-B-I00 MCI / AEI / FEDER EU.

El proyecto busca entender cómo los bebés en entornos bilingües aprenden palabras y cómo las palabras están representadas en su mente.
