On 24 March took place the 5th edition of the Doctoral Student Workshop at the Department of Information Technologies and Communication UPF (DITC), an annual event where doctoral students have the opportunity to present their research projects and share them with other researchers, which promotes interaction and exchange between them.

Jordi Pons was one of the researchers awarded for the best poster in Machine Learning. The prize awarded, worth 1,000 € (thanks to the sponsorship of Intelygenz) will allow the researcher advance his research in many ways, allowing him to attend conferences or buy cutting-edge technological equipment.
